Bulldog    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Obese

Lady is an Olde English Bulldogge that was bred repeatedly in a puppy mill in Arizona, escaped, picked up by animal control, and rescued on the day she was to be put down by friends of mine who had a female Olde English. She fought with their dog so they gave her to me. I have a male dog that she gets along with, but I am moving in with my sister soon and she has a Maltese mix that Lady refuses to get along with. Although I love Lady dearly, she desperately needs a new home. If I have to give her to a shelter, she will be put down. Lady has a lame back left leg (not hip dysplasia) but with glucosamine supplements and exercise it isn't ... (Read More)noticeable - she easily jumps on the bed and went up and down the stairs in Tucson. She has a tendency to get inter-digital cysts (vet says its an allergic reaction) so she takes prednisone every other day. She has the sweetest temperament, except with other dogs. I have had her for 15 months. She would make an ideal pet in a one dog family. I am willing to drive her anywhere in the country to find her a good home (except Alaska and Hawaii). (Less)

Bulldog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

You'd think Kyzer would have given up on humans, but this sweet boy could never be mad You see, Kyzer was found tied to a street post in a rural area with no food and no water by someone who clearly did not deserve such a good boy in the first place. Kyzer is such a happy guy, and he's teaching us to be optimistic no matter what life throws at you. With proper slow introductions, Kyzer enjoys the company of other dogs a lot, and could easily share a home with some K9 companions. Estimated to be between 2-3 years old (1/15) and about 45 pounds. Can you give Kyzer his forever home? Virginia Paws for Pits is a registered 501c3 charity. All of ... (Read More)our dogs are pulled form high kill shelters in VA, NC, SC, TN, and GA.     A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The term Bulldog originated in medieval times and was applied to brave dogs that would attack bulls in arena combat. The English Bulldog is the mascot of the U.S. Marine Corps. Bulldog puppies often have to be delivered by C-section due to the breadth of their heads. Bulldogs have such jowly facial folds that they need to have their teeth brushed and their facial folds cleaned out on a daily basis.
