|Animal ID: 3519Winston (male)|
Up for adoption is Winston. He is a 3 year old 90 pound Old English Bulldog. He is neutered, up to date on his shots and currently on heartworm preventative. Winston is a boy who needs a special home. A male with a firm (yet positive and loving) hand would be best. No children. Winston appears to get along with cats (if properly introduced) as well as other dogs. Winston is a stubborn boy and needs someone who can be a strong alpha and not back down. Winston does have a bite history. We were told by his former owners that he 'nipped' at their niece. He's bitten 4 times in the home he currently resides in, twice breaking the skin. We were also told by his former owners that eye contact will cause him to become aggressive. Winston isn't a particularly vicious dog, he bites when told no or made to do something he doesn't want to do. He needs someone who can work with him on these issues. Winston is extremely loyal and loving towards his alpha. Winston enjoys his walks very much. In the home he currently resides in, he gets to walk a mile nearly every night. This seems to keep him more calm and relaxed and happy. Winston enjoys chewing his bones very much as well. He can chew for hours, especially if the bone has tasty things inside. If you feel you can give Winston a stable and loving home, please get in touch with us. Serious inquiries only. A home visit and adoption fee will be required. Winston will come to you with his bed, blanket, toys, harness, leash, collar, and heartworm preventative. He's currently eating Nutro (3 cups per day). Some food will be included so you can mix in with whatever new food you may want to introduce. (Less)

|Animal ID: 12345Petunia (female)|
Petunia was rescued from a puppy mill and needs a home of her own. She is very shy at first but warms up very quickly. Petunia would do best in a home with no other dogs.

Bulldogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
