Rescue Me ID: 17-09-23-00429Marvin (male)

Bulldog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

Marvin is a love bug, and is looking for a great home. Marvin does have skin allergies and we've tried many options but the best medication that works for him runs $31.00 a month. He needs a responsible owner to keep him on his medication. We have decided to re home Marvin due to him showing aggression towards other dogs including our little schnoodle. He does bite out of jealousy and he can become terrioratorial. I can speak more on this if someone is interested in adopting him. He will make a great companion for someone, he loves playing fetch, tug o' war, he likes to go on walks, cuddle, chew on stuff animals, or bones. Marvin needs more ... (Read More)exercise and room for running. He will need additional training and socialising if you plan to have him around other animals. We haven't had him around kids, so I'd say no until he's been better socialized due to him still being a puppy and playing rough. He needs a forever home and needs commitment. He has a very playful disposition and submits well. Around other animals like I've previously stated he becomes jealous and tries to be alpha. We will require vet references, and a reason why you think you would be a suitable home for Marvin. This is really difficult to re home him but I will not settle and give him to anyone just because they have the money for the rehoming fee which is firm. If you're looking for additional information please contact me. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-07-24-00474Loki (male)

Bulldog    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Loki is a 16 month old Johnson/Scott American Bulldog. He will be neutered come 07/31/2017. He weighs in at 80 pounds and is still growing! Loki is up to date on his vaccinations heartworm preventative and flea preventative. He is in overall good health being an ideal weight. Loki is a fine young boy who I believe, is a typical bulldog. He is active, obedient and well-mannered when he isn't being stubborn and obstinate. He is dog friendly and would be great in a home by himself or in a home with other large dogs. He is good with kids, however, I wouldn't recommend him for a household with kids younger than 7 year old.He plays very rough with ... (Read More)our border terrier and our 40 boxer doesn't like to play with him because he is just too rough. Our 10 year old boxer won't have anything to do with him either for the same reason. She gives off a warning growl if he approaches her with more than a gentle sniff. Loki is just a tank and will plow you down if you aren't paying attention. He is very gregarious. He is good with basic commands; sit, down stay, come. He walks well on a leash as long as you use a pinch collar on him. Loki knows a few tricks; speak, shake and high five. He would excel at Shutzhund as he is very high energy! He is a very funny, sweet boy that just wants your attention. He is house trained very well.No accidents since we have had him and we can leave him out of his crate when we leave the house. We took Loki in after a couple from our church wasn't able to update his medical needs and no longer had time for him since they started a new business. We were considering keeping him however we have had problems with him and two of our other three dogs. My husband is also disabled and has a hard time handling him. If you are interested in this sweet boy, please contact me for an application and reference check. home visit will be required once your application is approved. If you would like to set up a meet and greet, we are available pretty much within a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities Metro area. His adoption fee will be $500 after he is neutered. (Less)
