Rescue Me ID: 14-09-16-00171Toro (male)

Bulldog    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Toro is a great dog!!! He has never been around small children so a home with children over 10 would be ideal. He enjoys being with people so a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time is a must. He is crate trained but not house trained. I want him to go to a home that will work with him and give him additional training.. I will not allow him to go with someone that is going to leave him in a crate all day. He is not aggressive but is stubborn. He has skin issues and gets pimples and has very dry skin. He is on special food and goes to the vet alot. I do NOT want to sell him.. I am moving into a new home and will no longer ... (Read More)be living where I work so he will not be getting the attention he deserves (I work over 10 hours a day and he is always with me at work The adoption fee is to insure a good home. (Less)

A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The term Bulldog originated in medieval times and was applied to brave dogs that would attack bulls in arena combat. Bulldog puppies often have to be delivered by C-section due to the breadth of their heads. Bulldogs have such jowly facial folds that they need to have their teeth brushed and their facial folds cleaned out on a daily basis.
