|Health:|| Spayed, Vaccinations Current | Hi! I'm Minnie, a very cute 1-1/2-year-old, spayed female, white and tan IOEBA registered Olde English Bulldog. In my current home, I live with another female Bulldog, but we aren't getting along. After spending a lot of time and money trying to make it work between us, my owners, with heavy hearts, feel it is best to re-home me. Same-sex aggression is common among my breed, but it doesn't mean I am a bad dog. There is potential for me to live with another dog, but it will take additional training and a dog that is tolerant of my high energy. It is unknown how I get along with cats. I'm a sweet and friendly girl that needs some ... (Read More)structure in my life. I would do best in an active home with someone that is familiar with my breed. I need someone that will keep my energy level in check and reinforce rules, but is also gentle with me and patient while I learn. I would highly benefit from naps and would do well with older children. I could live with younger children, but only with additional training because I am a bit mouthy with toys and treats and could also knock over a toddler by accident. My current owners have taken very good care of me; I am up-to-date with my vaccinations, I have had my rabies vaccine, I am microchipped and am taking heartworm prevention medication and joint health supplements. I also had a prior surgery on my leg, which is completely healed. I am currently eating high-quality food that I do well with, as I do not do well with lower-quality dog food. My $100 adoption fee includes my food, heartworm prevention medication, joint supplements, treats and two private training lessons with the trainer that has been working with me. With training, I would learn very quickly and become well-mannered in no time. When my trainer was working with my owners, most of what we were doing was related to building a relationship with me and the other dog. Once we can focus on just me and not another dog, someone would be able to bring me to a very good place very quickly. If you would like to give me a forever home and help me make wise behavior decisions when I'm unsure, I'd love to be your dog! In return, I'll give you many years of unconditional love!
