This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $175 if picked up in TN, $225 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Have you been looking for your own personal Super Hero? Meet Lulu, the SUPER sweet and playful 7 month old Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix princess! Almost fully grown at 40 lbs, this stocky, snorty little lady loves hugs and kisses. She is full of energy and would do best in a home with a fenced yard and humans that love to play. Lulu loves to play fetch, but will also entertain herself quietly with chew toys. She knows how to use her inside voice and does not bark at guests who arrive or ring the doorbell. She has both cat and dog siblings in her current foster home and gets along well with all of them. She has been known to chase her feline siblings around the house, but only to give them kisses. Lulu also gets along with kids. She currently lives with with a toddler who gives her lots of attention. She is house and crate trained. She currently sleeps in a large dog kennel at night, but has the run of the house during the day. Lulu uses a dog door so she is able to go outside to a fenced back yard at her convenience. Although Lulu is small in stature, she has a big heart and is ready to give lots of love and tail wagging to her forever home hero! No one can resist the power of Lulu's adorable face and energetic spirit! Fill out an adoption application and come meet Lulu!! (Less)

My name is Donner and I'm still a puppy - I'm not quite 18 months old - but I'm growing up fast! I'm from California, here in Tennessee since around September. The change in climate was a surprise to me, but I've adjusted well. I do not like going outside very much when it's raining or when there's standing water. I am trained to go potty outside, but I'm totally an inside pal. I'm so sweet and good natured. As with many young and active breeds, I do have my own way of thinking and doing sometimes. I guess you can say I can be headstrong, but still, I am submissive when called to task. I have been with cats all my life, but well-adjusted older cats are my favorite friends. Kittens are more like a play toy, so I need to be supervised by my foster mom and foster sister. when I'm around the little kitties. I love fetching balls and toys, and chewing on my 'fake' bones. I ride well in a car or truck - I enjoy sightseeing around the city. I'm not good on a leash yet; I still pull and tug as I want to rush to sniff and explore the world around me. I am trainable, though, and that would be the best thing for me - training to be a well-mannered, obedient best friend. I was crate trained before coming to Clarksville, but my foster mom doesn't have one. I've been very good when I'm left alone, even with all the kitties out and about. (I don't have the same interest about them as I do when my human pets are home. Not sure why I'm like that.) I do need to be heartworm tested and put on preventative. As far as my foster mom knows, I am not infected, so prompt testing and preventative is a great idea. I'm also micro-chipped. (Less)

Bulldogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
