Poncho is as sweet as he is handsome! He is a very happy boy and loves people. He is good with other female dogs and possibly males too. It would be best to have him around larger dogs or by himself as he plays rough but he is just a goof ball. He is an adorable guy that would love to find his forever family to shower him with lots of love and play time! He is a very sensitive guy who just wants a family to love him!!

Please text me if you are interested in Mariah. Mariah is a beautiful, goofy shorty. It is hard to say what Mariah's past has been but my sole purpose of getting her was to make sure she found a forever home! Mariah is spayed, UTD, and chipped. Mariah would do well with older children cuz she is too crazy and might knock the little ones over. Absolutely NO CATS! Mariah does well with submissive dogs or super slow introductions. She loves toys and learns quite quickly. Mariah is completely housebroke and crate trained. Please contact me with any questions-text is fastest. Thank you!

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-17-00351Wilbur (male)

Bulldog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Wilbur is an incredibly sweet and goofy 1-year-old tan-and-white male Bulldog mix who came to Northwest Dog Project from a high-kill shelter in LA. Weighing roughly 45 lbs, our staff has described him as the happiest dog they've ever met! And he definitely has that special puppy-like love of life! A real love bug with people (he won't hesitate to hop right up into your lap for attention), he also gets along with non-dominant dogs. Because of his enthusiasm, he should be properly introduced to new canine friends so as not to overwhelm them, and a home with a doggie pal similar in size would be ideal. At this time Wilbur would do best in a ... (Read More)home with older children until he has his basic obedience down a bit more. Wilbur sits on command, know 'lay down' & 'roll over', He shows signs of being housebroken, and walks well on leash although he could use some extra training on leash in areas with lots of stimulation/distractions to perfect his skills. This boy is very eager to please and with some continued training is going to make an outstanding canine citizen. Super handsome with his adorable squishy face, Wilbur will make an incredible buddy for an active and loving family understanding that he is a strong dog with lots of playful puppy energy. Wilbur is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. (Less)

lnteresting Bulldog Trivia Low-Cost Oregon Spay & Neuter Clinics
A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The term Bulldog originated in medieval times and was applied to brave dogs that would attack bulls in arena combat. The English Bulldog is the mascot of the U.S. Marine Corps. Bulldog puppies often have to be delivered by C-section due to the breadth of their heads. Bulldogs have such jowly facial folds that they need to have their teeth brushed and their facial folds cleaned out on a daily basis.
