Bruce is a wonderful English bulldog who is in need of a new home. He is 4 1/2 years old and weighs 82 lbs. Bruce is a mellow and patient fellow. He is okay with cats and good with some dogs. He is very affectionate. Bruce is neutered, fully vetted, and up to date with shots. He does pull on the leash which is one reason his owner needs to find him a new home. Bulldogs can make good pets in New Jersey if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
