HELLO POTENTIAL ADOPTERS, 'PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW.' Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area or mine. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups in person prior to their adoption. All of the puppy's and dogs are located in either TN, Arkansas, GA or KY, and will come north on a USDA transport once they are adopted. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog, just fill out the adoption application then when it is received questions can be answered. If I only answer emails then I can't make calls to the people that have filled out the adoption application and that is not fair to ... (Read More)the people that read the description and instructions. Thanks so much for understanding. Peaches & her sister Polly were rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. They are both beautiful babies and are just as cute as a button. They love to play with each other, play with their foster friends and act like any puppy should act, playful and lovable. The sisters are so beautiful, it will be hard to chose one of them as your new family member. So which one will it be? If you look at Peaches chest, she has a guardian angel in it. Adoption is $345. (all vetted with a microchip) and $140. transport via Alpha Dog Transport. For an application & information, please SCROLL DOWN. (Read More)FEE: $150 - Application and Contract are required%BD%BD%BD%A0 Her story ~%BD%BD%BD'%BD%BDFiona is a wonderful and loving bulldog that we've had since she was 8 weeks old. She is strong, healthy (no allergies or skin infections), intelligent, eager to please, and can be a typical stubborn bulldog at times (she is definitely an alpha). She knows a ton of tricks (stay, sit, paw, lay down, speak) and is impressively intelligent. She loves car rides, sleeping on the couch and sleeping on the bed if allowed, being the center of attention, walks/hikes (been known to do 8 miles easily), but also known to sleep all day so not required to be walked. She is super smart, sweet, loyal, obedient, house trained. We have to re-home Fiona, a heart wrenching decision, because she became very aggressive towards our other (male) bulldog after living 5 years together (since they were puppies). This started right after after my husband was deployed for the military for 2 years. We have done every thing we can to solve the aggressive behavior. Both dogs were treated with Paxil by a behavior psychology vet, who recommended of the dogs be re-homed. They also both had 2 weeks of intense obedience training in order to remedy their aggressive interactions with each other but nothing has helped, including my husband's return home. The decision to re-home Fiona has been one of agony for us but it is best for her and our other dog, for their own safety and happiness. We are due to have our first baby, and fear the home will be unsafe for the new infant due to the hostility of the dogs if they continue to live together. She is a great dog and will thrive as the only pet in the home. It's no life for either of the dogs having to spend half the time secluded from the rest of the family. We decided to part with Fiona as opposed to the other bulldog as he has severe anxiety issues and we know Fiona will survive the big adjustment of finding a new family much better than he would. A purebred%BD%BD%BD%A0English Bulldog, AKC Certified, Fiona requires a home experienced with the EB or other similar breed. Anyone with dog training and/or behavior modification is a plus. Fiona is a dominant female and requires a strong, not aggressive, owner. She is your typical Bulldog and had a tendency to test her limits if not provided with clear and consistent commands. She is a lover and wants nothing more than to be loved. Due to her Bulldog tendencies, small children will likely be injured and therefore we prefer he goes to a home with older children. She is crate trained and loves her crate but does get scared and aggressive if you put your hands in the crate. She loves walks but does lunge and pull on the leash when other dogs are around her, so she does need a strong adult to be the only one to walk her. The only other thing we've seen is some 'sun-downing' behavior in the evening where she just likes to be left alone in her own company. PIease Read Before Adopting a Bulldog in New Hampshire
Bulldogs can make good pets in New Hampshire if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.

lnteresting Bulldog Trivia Low-Cost New Hampshire Spay & Neuter Clinics
A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The term Bulldog originated in medieval times and was applied to brave dogs that would attack bulls in arena combat. Bulldog puppies often have to be delivered by C-section due to the breadth of their heads. Bulldogs have such jowly facial folds that they need to have their teeth brushed and their facial folds cleaned out on a daily basis.
