He flourishes when he knows his place in the pack. He went through 12 weeks of working with a professional trainer when he was originally adopted ... (Read More)to teach him and his owners how to handle his anxiety/stress and his need for dominance and has done GREAT! He knows a ton of tricks and is impressively intelligent. He can learn anything with a treat! He loves car rides, sleeping on the couch, sleeping on the bed if allowed, being groomed/pampered, center of attention, short walks (0.5 miles or less), belly rubs, carrots. He is super smart, sweet, loyal, obedient, house trained. His owners just had a baby and Otis is struggling with the change - he isn't handling it well despite the years of training he's had to help him with his anxiety. The decision to re-home him has been one of agony for his family but they decided to do what is best for Otis despite their desperate desire to keep him because they love him so very much. A purebred English Bulldog, Otis is looking for his new forever family. He requires a home experienced with the EB or other similar breed.%BD%A0%BD%A0Anyone with dog training and/or behavior modification is a plus.%BD%A0%BD%A0Otis is a dominant male and requires a strong, not aggressive, owner. He is your typical Bulldog and had a tendency to test his limits if not provide with clear and consistent commands.%BD%A0%BD%A0He is a lover and wants nothing more than to be loved. Due to his Bulldog tendencies, small children will likely be injured and therefore we prefer he goes to a home with older children. Due to dominance issues, he would do best in a home without other pets.%BD%A0%BD%A0Consideration will be considered for those with experience in dog reactiveness and social anxiety. **READ BEFORE APPLYING** SPECIAL NEEDS As with most Bulldog breeds, Otis has allergies.%BD%A0%BD%A0A list of medications will be included as part of his adoption.
