Ellie was rescued from the Shelter when she was 11mo old, and has only had two homes in her life. She is a very sweet loveable doggie. Her parents have split up and her dad was not able to take her back to Florida with him, and her mommy works over 12 hours some days and does not want Ellie left alone that long so is looking for another loving home for her. She is over 50lbs and very strong. She does like to jump when she gets excited so may not be the best fit for very small children. She has never bitten or snapped at anyone, but due to her size and strength is why I do not suggest little children. Ellie loves going on walks, fetching ... (Read More)balls, chewing her toys only, potty, and crate trained. I would like her a home with someone who has time for her, and who either has a yard or somewhere she can be walked and exercised daily. She has mild leash aggression to other dogs if they bark or charge at her, she mainly wants to play with them, and has never bitten another dog, but they have bit her :(, and she did not attack them back. At home she is pretty calm and likes to snuggle on the couch. Please only serious inquires, if you remotely support or partake in dog fighting do not bother contacting, I plan on doing a few visits with the interested person to see if Ellie is a fit for the family interested. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from her future home :) (Less)
