Rescue Me ID: 17-05-24-00231Rex (male)
Rex is a Old English Bulldog about 18 months old. He needs lots of attention. He doesn't do well with small spaces. He is in need of the one year vaccinations. We want him to go to a home who can give me all the love and attention he requires. His favorite foods are coconut oil and sweet potatoes. We haven't brought him around other dogs much but he did well with a golden retriever and american bull dog, he just slims them up quit a bit but seemed to always play well. He had very minimal contact with a teddy bear (small) dog and they did not get along.

Rescue Me ID: 17-05-19-00411Frankie (male)
Unfortunately our family is going through a divorce and we have to give up our amazing baby (SUPER big baby) to a home that will love him as much as he loves them. Frankie has been exposed to abuse (hence the divorce) and deserves SO much more. Frankie is a pure bred Olde Bull Dog, light blue brindle coloring with blue/green eyes whom is up to date with his shots (have the paperwork) and is well fed with Blue Buffalo dog food (actually quite picky with treats/food he's quite organic :) ). He does have a LARGE cage for his house, collar w/tags and a leash. I place human compatibility to unknown because Frankie is actually amazing with adults/friends/family and our children, however he has had his moments with uncertain people (anyone he doesn't know wearing dark hoods/covering their face or 'appears' untrusting) he will growl at - quite a loyal companion. He will also have severe anxiety attacks which will render him to not want to move for a few days (can be QUITE stubborn). He grew up with two cats, one whom he was quite fond of and slept with all of the time (recently passed away) and the other whom was a female, however those two did not get along. Frankie is quite submissive when it comes to ANY dog of ANY size (it's actually too funny). Please, take Frankie into your consideration - this is definitely one of the most difficult things with what's happening but he deserves more, a better home to live his life in. We appreciate your consideration. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-05-03-00452Mack (male)
Mack is an Olde English Bulldogge(AKC) and is looking for a new forever home without other male dogs. Would do best as only dog as he loves all the attention. Mack LOVES people, but has only been around young kids when they visit and has done fine, but because of this would prefer him to go to a home with older/teenage kids. He doesn't get along with another male dog I have and the other dog doesn't like him either, so I have to keep a constant eye on them when together. He does well with cats and small dogs, no problems there. He is strictly an inside dog and is potty trained. He is a nervous dog and if he gets worried about anything, he eats. (I call him an emotional eater). If my son's wrestle he gets worried and tries to get in there to break it up. He doesn't like monkey business and alot of commotion worries him. He also hates squeaker toys and horns and is determined to 'kill' the sound in them. I have another reason for getting him a new home which I would discuss with any seriously interested person. He is a beautiful big dog at 106 lbs. Call or text me at 5072730209. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-03-00424Otis (male)
Otis is a 2 yr old old English bulldog. He can be relaxed and friendly most time. He does get very aggressive and possessive with food, toys, items he takes, etc. he has moderate allergies and scratches a lot. He gets ear infections often and does not really like getting drops put in. He needs more discipline and attention. He gets along with a female dog but has no additional interaction with other animals.

Bulldogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
