Bulldog    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Female Dogs Only, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

Buddha is an Oldie English Bulldog, 1.5 years old. He is an awesome dog. house trained and love people and kids, get along with most female dogs, not the dog park type. Does not get along with most males because he is a dominant bulldog. the reason we have decided to place him out is because he has severe arthritis in both of his knees. Surgery will not help. he walks fine but must be on food with high glucosamine and not allowed to run around all day. We have other young dogs that he loves to run and play with so he can never really heal. he needs a home with a fenced in yard with a family or another female dog. This is our baby ... (Read More)so we do screen all of the applicants. We have taken him to many vets but doing sugery will only make thigs worse so please do not try to persue that as an option. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-12-12-00422Riley (female)

Bulldog    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Riley is a four year old Olde English Bulldog. She is brindle in color, dominant, and would need to go to a home without other animals as she is dog/cat aggressive. She knows how to sit, lay down, is kennel trained, house trained, and loves to go for walks/hiking. Due to a recent change in my living arrangement she is now with other animals and not doing well as she is aggressive towards them. She loves people and does well with them. She has good energy and at times will jump up but a firm 'no' will stop that. She has been around kids and has done well but due to her size (85lbs) she could easily knock over smaller children. A fenced in ... (Read More)yard would be good for her as well as she likes to run around and play fetch in the backyard. Please contact with any questions. I would like to have her meet the person looking to adopt her before it happens to make sure she would be a good fit for your family. She will come with her food, dog bed, and treats. Thanks! PIease Read Before Adopting a Bulldog in Minnesota
Bulldogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
