Rescue Me ID: 15-04-16-00319Daisy (female)

Bulldog    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adult Women Only
Personality: Low Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

I am looking for a loving home for Daisy, no other dogs where she can live a pampered life with someone that will cater to her and take care of her like their baby. She is so precious to me and I am so sad to have to rehome her. She does not get along with our other dog and I have even moved out of my home with her hoping that with training she would become more confident and be able to be reunited into our family. She is very anxious and noise and quick movements send her running for cover. She is house trained, crate trained and she is the love of my life but also very protective of me. She does not want me to give any attention to ... (Read More)our other dog and she will actually attack our other dog if I do. They lived together for over a year before this began. We have taken her to a behaviorist who put both dogs on medication, Daisy was diagnosed with anxiety, and she has a lack of obedience. If you have ever owned a bulldog before, you pretty much know bulldogs do things when they want to, on their time. We got her when she was 14 months old and I don't think a lot of training was done before we took her. She will sit for a treat and will tell you when she wants something, she can be very vocal and comical, you just have to figure out if she wants to go out, needs food or water. She has been in good health, she has a little thinning on her side in which the veterinarian said was probably an allergy to her food, so we are trying a new food and it seems to be helping. I will under no circumstances allow Daisy to go anywhere that I have not visited to see where she will live. She is my baby and this is extremely hard for me to do. I would hope the her new owner would give me updates on how she's doing and an occasional photo would be great. I would also be willing to do a temporary or 30 day money back guarantee. I want to ensure she is placed in the best home possible. It's hard to make a choice between your marriage or you pet. I have to choose my family, so I need to ensure Daisy gets a home as good or better than what she has with us. Please only serious inquiries contact me. I prefer previous bulldog owner so they are aware of the maintenance required in owning a bulldog. She's super loving to me and has given me so much joy!! (Less)
