After much heartache and debate, we have decided it would be best to re-home our dog. We got her as a puppy 4 years ago and she is seriously the sweetest dog. I 100% trust her around my babies and kids, she has a very sweet personality. The family we got her from as a puppy had babies and she has always been around small children. She is very gentle with kids, my son can take food out of her bowl while she is eating and she won't growl at him or anything. She is an english bulldog/pit bull mix. She is in good health and up to date on her shots and flea and tick care. She listens pretty well, we did some work with a dog trainer. Really all of the issues we have are because I can't give her enough attention now with having little kids. Unfortunately with a baby and very needy toddler, I am unable to devote to her, the time she needs . We have a small area of our yard fenced in but its not enough for her to really run around and I don't have time to walk her daily. We live on a busy road and my toddler has let her out of the fence on several occasions and I'm afraid one day she is going to get hit by a car. She is super friendly and loves everybody that comes in to our house . She doesn't bark a whole lot, only at certain delivery people outside that don't come inside to greet her. She really needs a home where she can run or be walked regularly. She would do well with bigger kids who could help play with/exercise her. She gets along with all other dogs she has met. The only time we have had an issue is when the other dog has repeatedly gotten aggressive with her. Even then she never attacked the other dog. That is another part of our problem. Our neighbor's dog runs in to our yard and barks and growls at her and when she barks back the neighbors complain that she is scaring their dog. So I think she would do fine in a home with other dogs. Before we decided to rehome her, we considered adopting another dog so she would have a playmate. We use to have cats and she loved them and tried to play with them. I really want to find her a nice, loving home where she will get the love and attentions she needs. Anybody interested can set up a time to come and meet her, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. (Less)

Who can resist two different colored cross eyes??? Zeus is a very unique looking boy that is looking for the perfect home! His perfect home needs to provide structure and boundaries, he has some mild issues with food and can be intense with dogs. He would do better in a home without small children and other animals

Age: 1 year and 3 month on Nov 13th Breed: English Bulldog Pitbull Mix Temperament: Very friendly, loving and obedient Issues: Separation anxiety, does not like being put a crate when home alone. He is ok if another dog is present. Unfortunately in the past 3 months I have had to move twice because of the noise and damage to property. He barks and cries when I leave initially and tries to get out of his crate. he also damaged carpet and a door trying to get out. There has only been this one occurrence of property damage. This also occurred prior to him being neutered. Please reach out to me if interested.

Bulldogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
