    Dolly is a purebred Olde English Bulldogge. She is very lovable and loves belly rubs. She'e energetic and enjoys running, swimming and playing fetch. She's used to traveling the country by RV, and she would do well on long car rides. She lives with a cat, so she would do fine with a cat brother or sister. She does not do well with other dogs. Dolly's owner are elderly and unable to handle her high energy level. She would do great with a young active family!

    Olde English Bulldogge female House broken, crate trained, great with people and kids - NOT good with other animals - needs to be only dog and no cats - high prey drive and will kill a cat and fight with another dog - she loves car rides and hanging out on the couch and sleepiing at foot of the bed - plays with the kids and had never shown any aggression towards people or young children. She was rescued from the mid west due to having heartworm - she was treated and is fine almost a year ago - she as placed in a new home with another female OEB and was fine for 6 months and a fight broke out and was surrendered back to us - she is ...     Bulldogs can make good pets in Maine if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
