Adoption fees are $75 for dogs and $65 for cats. The adoption fee covers their spay/neuter at a local vet and their first 5-way shot, when available, at the shelter.     Gus has always been a very sweet and loving dog. With his old age his behavior has become unpredictable and since we have a 2 year old little girl we have to give him a home he deserves with more attention than we can provide. He would make a great home for a bachelor or couple with no kids. He iloves to lay around and watch tv with you.

    Female white bulldog/not sure of breed. I was told she may be Georgia bulldog. Very sweet, doesnt let you touch her head to pet/ like it hurts, she was dropped off in my community about a week or 2 ago. (People constantly drop off female dogs here.) I dont have a picture but she is sweet and scared. I feed her and she comes to me now.

    Bulldogs can make good pets in Kentucky if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
