Rescue Me ID: 14-04-23-00693Jess (male)
Jess was abandoned by her previous owner but rescued within two days. She unfortunately cannot stay with us because we already have three dogs and rent our home. Jess is a good girl, but she is energetic and sometimes seeks to be the dominant member of the pack. She is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative and was spayed last week. She is house broken but energetic and a little jumpy, we're working to break her of that habit. She is crate trained and is not food obsessed or food aggressive. We're not asking for an adoption fee, we just want to find her a good home and we're willing to travel within a few hours of Hopkinsville, KY to get her to said good home. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-10-00319Daisy (female)
Daisy is a wonderful bulldog. She has been raised in the same home for 6 years. She is very stubborn, hence the bread, and we do not comfortable with a child in the home. This is devastating to us. We have tried to have her professionally trained, but the issues are still at hand. The issues I speak of is her distaste toward our son. She has not been outwardly aggressive but the writing is on the wall. Daisy is a fantastic companion, that loves to be touched and loved. She is very low energy, but does require quite a bit of manicuring- cleaning her tail, nose folds etc. She cannot be left by herself for long periods (over 5 or 6) for she gets very sad. We still want to see Daisy, so we will only entertain an adoption in Louisville, KY. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-02-25-00407Marboro (male)
His name is pronounced Mar-bro. He is a very friendly and playful young man. He keeps you entertained like chasing a laser light. He understands the word 'no', sits, and lays down. He's had his pravo shot only and dewormed. He comes with leash, collar, dog bowls, and some toys.

Bulldogs can make good pets in Kentucky if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
