Bulldog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Name: Cash Age: 5-6 years Neutered male. Kids: very very protective of babies and does not like fast movements so kids probably not the best. Animals: hates cats, lives with a dog now, he recently started fighting more with but other dog is also dominant male so they butt heads often, they do play a lot, rough play too. A submissive dog may be okay. Also, very protective of women. Loves toys and is a big goof ball. This may sound crazy but he gets grouchy on Sundays, loves his sleep and alone time during the week, he gets sick of us by Sunday I think. We love him to death and this is very hard on us but I think he would thrive in a ... (Read More)home that understands him and can work with him better than we can. Needs a single person that doesn't live too crazy of a life. Or someone who knows how American Bulldogs work and are able to rehab in into the perfect dog because he is really great for the right kind of owner. (Less)

Bulldogs can make good pets in Iowa if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
