Bulldog Mix

Personality: Low Energy, Submissive

I have a dog that took up residence on my porch sofa early today and has not gone away. She appears to have recently given birth and is very underweight (ribs showing). I don't think she is dangerous, she seems to be very afraid of us. We were able to give her quite a bit of food and water today and lured her into the garage where we are hoping to keep her warmer for the night than outside. I have not taken her to a vet to have her scanned for a chip, I couldn't get near her until this evening. She is a mix of some sort, I cannot figure it out. Looks like some boxer or maybe some english pointer. Squarish face, long tail Ihave attached a ... (Read More)couple photos of her. She is maybe 25-30 pounds. We cannot keep her or let her into the house. I have a small dog and small children. I have a space heater and a blanket in the garage for the night to keep her warm. The Humane Society will not take in dogs, I'm afraid if I take her to animal control she will be euthanized. Any suggestions on where I could take her would be greatly appreciated. I have placed and ad on both Indy Lost Pet Alert and Dog Detective. (Less)
