|Rescue Me ID: 14-01-11-00245Zarrah (female)|
We found Zarah wondering the streets and have had her since April 28th. We don't have the time to dedicate to her to give her the attention that she deserves and really want to find her a good loving home with someone that has the time to give her what she needs. She is a very good girl and responds to simple commands like sit and stay. She is crate trained and has had her rabies shot. We refuse to take her to the humane society because we do not want her to be put down. The vet said she is probably about a year old. She is not a loud girl, only barks when playing. She is good with other dogs and kids, pretty much everybody, but has never seen a cat so we are not sure how she will respond to one. We believe she is a pitbull/bulldog mix. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 13-10-04-00191Cooper (male)|
Cooper is a lovable 7 year old beagle/bulldog mix. He is about 25 pounds and is about as laid back they come. He likes to sleep all day completely covered with a blanket. He likes to go for walks and does great in the car. He's sweet and loves to lay with you on the couch while you watch TV. He is great with kids and adults and does well with other dogs. Only serious inquiries please. Also, please note that the adoption process for Cooper will be taken very seriously. A home check/meet and greet will be required and a fenced in yard is a must.

Bulldogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
