Bulldog    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)

LET's FIND MACK A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!! 9 year old Mack has come a long way. When he came to us a few months ago he guarded EVERYTHING. With consistent training from Gunnar Carlson he's ready for a home of his own. He'll need a strong owner and reminders to leave things alone, but he's a sweet boy and is good with other dogs and even cats. No children for this guy since toys would be too much of a temptation for him. He lived in the same home from the time he was a puppy and they were used to his idiosyncrasies, but sadly when a baby came he had to go. Won't you please consider taking this senior into your heart? Looking for a bulldog savvy family since Tyson sometimes has a skin flare up and Bella can be a little nervous around new people. One thing is for sure.......THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. Sadly their owner had to give them up because of his living situation, but he loved them and was very sad to see them go. They have been loved and cared for by their foster family since September, but it's time for a home of their own. If you'd like a pair to snuggle with ...look no further. Tyson ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Bulldog in Connecticut
Bulldogs can make good pets in Connecticut if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.

A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The term Bulldog originated in medieval times and was applied to brave dogs that would attack bulls in arena combat. The English Bulldog is the mascot of the U.S. Marine Corps. Bulldog puppies often have to be delivered by C-section due to the breadth of their heads.
