It's no wonder she suffers from separation anxiety since her family tied her to the fence outside the animal shelter and abandoned her. Stella is shy at first but is a very affectionate girl once she trusts you. Because of her insecurities we are looking for a child free home. She is good with dogs and cats!     Bulldogs can make good pets in Connecticut if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.
