He's a big boy weighing in at about 70 lbs. He is a love bug who needs a forever home. He is not good with cats but he does well with other dogs and is also good with children. Buddy has skin allergies that requires a daily allergy pill and a specific type of dog food but is otherwise a healthy boy.

Bulldog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Kilo's foster mom tells us that Kilo is doing just great! He has settled in well to his foster home, and is being such a good boy. Kilo can hear her when she comes home, and is always waiting at the door for her with his tail going a mile a minute. He is brushing up on his manners and already knows 'sit' and 'paw' - and is getting better at 'stay'. He is also house trained. Kilo has seen our vet and is up to date now on all of his vaccines, as well as having all of the tests we do routinely when a dog comes into our rescue. He has also been neutered. He gets along well with other dogs his own size, but would do best in a home without ... (Read More)cats or other small furry creatures. Because he's a big guy, we're recommending children 7 years old or older - he could easily topple really small children without meaning to do so. Kilo is a bull dog mix, about 6 years old. He's a friendly, funny, lovable cuddle-bug who will make a totally terrific family member! His New Year's wish - and ours! - is to find a wonderful forever home for this sweet dog. (Less)

A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The term Bulldog originated in medieval times and was applied to brave dogs that would attack bulls in arena combat. Bulldog puppies often have to be delivered by C-section due to the breadth of their heads. Bulldogs have such jowly facial folds that they need to have their teeth brushed and their facial folds cleaned out on a daily basis.
