Rescue Me ID: 16-01-24-00245Kilo (male)

Bulldog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Kilo's foster mom tells us that Kilo is doing just great! He has settled in well to his foster home, and is being such a good boy. Kilo can hear her when she comes home, and is always waiting at the door for her with his tail going a mile a minute. He is brushing up on his manners and already knows 'sit' and 'paw' - and is getting better at 'stay'. He is also house trained. Kilo has seen our vet and is up to date now on all of his vaccines, as well as having all of the tests we do routinely when a dog comes into our rescue. He has also been neutered. He gets along well with other dogs his own size, but would do best in a home without ... (Read More)cats or other small furry creatures. Because he's a big guy, we're recommending children 7 years old or older - he could easily topple really small children without meaning to do so. Kilo is a bull dog mix, about 6 years old. He's a friendly, funny, lovable cuddle-bug who will make a totally terrific family member! His New Year's wish - and ours! - is to find a wonderful forever home for this sweet dog. (Less)

Please call or email PAWS to schedule an appointment to see Midge. Meet Midge! Don't be fooled by her petite size; Midge makes up for it in personality! Adult only homes please. Smart as a scientist, Midge loves to learn new things. She is a true master of agility and shaping. As clever as you and me, she gets bored with the same old thing and is always up for a challenge. Because Midge finds other dogs too excitable, she would be best in a home as the only pet. Midge's personality also calls for an experienced dog owner who is looking for a wonderful companion and can work with her to adjust to her new home. This loveable, ...     Meet Leo! This little nugget of love came to us from a high kill shelter in NYC. At around 5 years old, and a whopping 45 lbs, he is a tiny short-legged guy with a HUGE heart. He is great with kids 10+, and seems to enjoy other mellow dogs. He doesn't mind having feline friends either! Leo is an all around gem - great on leash, housebroken, and always ready to snuggle!
