Want a snuggle buddy??? #Adopt Sadie! Sadie is very friendly with people and loves to cuddle and be rubbed!! She will happily sleep in the bed with you if allowed! Snoozing with this big teddy bear is so fun...taking rainy Sunday's in the bed/couch to a new level. Sadie likes to walk and play with chew toys. She is an inside dog but goes for a walk twice a day. She is completely potty trained and has never had an accident. She likes to lay in her crate with blankets!! And likes a stuffed animal in there with her. She lays in her crate on her own with the door open...she likes to be cozy. She has not been around cats except when ... (Read More)walking and has tried to chase them. Lol She has not had much exposure to children. She is very sweet and loving to people who are good to her. She loves people! She could probably be socialized with other animals if the right person worked with her. She barks or growls when she sees other dogs while on a walk and would probably run over to them if not restrained, so it might would require a little extra time to introduce her to a new dog. But she did successfully complete a class at Pet Smart with other dogs, she was always on a leash. She's an amazing girl. We don't see how anyone could not fall in love with this super sweet chunky monkey %8D ((((Contact us today about this docile beautiful girl!!!! ))))) 4Legs4Justice@gmail.com She has been fully vetted, spayed, and is currently on heartworm prevention! Animal ID: 332Mr. Mann (male)

Bulldog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Female Dogs Only, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Poor Mr. Mann has endured what no living creature should, yet he is the absolute sweetest Olde Bulldogge ever. For those that don't know what an Olde is, he is 1/2 English Bulldog 1/2 American Bulldog. Breeders began crossing the two to make a healthier, longer living compact Bulldog. He loves every person he meets despite his horrid past. Mr. Mann landed himself in the shelter after he was no longer of any use at the puppy mill he was being used at as a stud. As common with FL puppy mills, poor Mr. Mann was de barked by his owners, no vet, with a PVC pipe down his throat to damage his vocal cords, with such, Mr. Mann is unable to make any ... (Read More)sounds. He cannot bark, whine, and does not even make a sound when he yawns :-( Poor pup is covered in bite wounds, both new and old, all over his tiny body. Mr. Mann would like a home where he is going to be spoiled and loved as he should have been every day of his precious life. We would like to see him placed as an only pup or with a like sized, 50# ish, female that is non confrontational, easy going and a teenager to throw the ball for him would be awesome. Mr. Mann comes crate trained, housebroken, will use a doggie door if available. Mr. Mann comes neutered, double microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, heart worm negative and on preventive. Mr. Mann is available for adoption worldwide but you must first come here for the meet and greet, we do not ship our dogs. We require a veterinarian reference and valid government ID in order to schedule a meet and greet, and contract prior to adoption. If inquiring about a tenacious/bully breed please have prior experience. When contacting please tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle as this will help us determine if Mr. Mann is the perfect fit for your family. Mr. Mann has not been fostered out or placed in a boarding kennel. All of our dogs live on the same property in our homes so we know exactly how they are on a day to day basis. If you tell is about yourself we can place the perfect companion with you. We do not place our dogs on a first come first serve basis. We will hold onto them until we find the perfect home for them so we know that they will not be failed again. A requirement of our contract is regular updates for the life of Mr. Mann, if you are unwilling to do this, please do not bother emailing us. As an adopter you will have access to our private group page on Facebook and will be able to add pictures/video of Mr. Mann as your time allows. We are committed to our dogs from day one until they day they die. Adoption fee $300 (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-12-30-00661Rosie and Ginger (female)

Bulldog Mix    Age: Puppy

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

You have NOT met two cuter little bulldog sisters than Rosie and Ginger. They will steal your heart right out of your chest soon after you meet them. As you can see in their pics, they love each other, but it doesn't stop them from loving people, too. They get along with most dogs, but we would not recommend a home with small dogs or small children as they can play a little rough. We would like for these sisters to find a home together. They would do better with dogs their size or bigger. They have been in foster care for over a year and desperately need a home to call their own.

Bulldog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

It has been said by some that 'When you go in search of honey you must expect to be stung by bees,' but this precious doodlebug is sting-free. Sweet girl appears to be a mix of perhaps American Bulldog, English Bulldog, and Boxer; she is about 3 years old; already spayed and UTD with her vaccinations. She does battle with typical allergies on occasion, but will respond fine with doggy dose of antihistamine like benadryl when pollen heavily in the air or she is around scratchy hay. Honey girl is great with other dogs, both male and female, and photos can't do this gorgeous girl justice. Come meet this little lady at Second Chance Shelter in ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Bulldog in Alabama
Bulldogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.

A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The term Bulldog originated in medieval times and was applied to brave dogs that would attack bulls in arena combat. The English Bulldog is the mascot of the U.S. Marine Corps. Bulldogs have such jowly facial folds that they need to have their teeth brushed and their facial folds cleaned out on a daily basis.
