It has been said by some that 'When you go in search of honey you must expect to be stung by bees,' but this precious doodlebug is sting-free. Sweet girl appears to be a mix of perhaps American Bulldog, English Bulldog, and Boxer; she is about 3 years old; already spayed and UTD with her vaccinations. She does battle with typical allergies on occasion, but will respond fine with doggy dose of antihistamine like benadryl when pollen heavily in the air or she is around scratchy hay. Honey girl is great with other dogs, both male and female, and photos can't do this gorgeous girl justice. Come meet this little lady at Second Chance Shelter in ...     Waterboy is a lovable guy between 2 and 4 years old. He came to Second Chance Shelter in Boaz very skinny and scarred, likely some unkind person had been trying to use him as a bait or fighting dog. But despite whatever his past may be Waterboy ADORES people, loves attention, and getting scratched and loved on.He definitely would prefer to be an only dog, and he doesn't need to go to a home with livestock or cats or birds to prevent any unfortunate accidents. Individuals, couples, and families with older kids or younger kids with adoptive dog expertise preferable. Waterboy lives up to his name, he really enjoys playing in water and jumping ... (Read More)into and on top of a water hose. Any adopter should be okay with a home visit before taking this fantastic guy home to make sure he will be a perfect fit in the home and the area. Come visit Waterboy today to see if this gorgeous guy wins your heart. (Less)

Humpy is a brindle bulldog mix, sometimes we call him shorty ! Lol, he is very sweet we don't know how he is with kids, he is in a kennel with another make dog , right now, they get along fine, he does bark at all the other dogs he is very dominant! Probably because he is so short and small! Very feisty! Probably be better as an only dog! Please adopt our little who's your daddy, he was a stray and we have too many strays, we have to start finding homes, for the dogs we have 29 . Can't keep them all!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Bulldog in Alabama
Bulldogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. The English Bulldog is a stocky breed with an intimidating appearance, but is one of the gentlest types of dogs. However, the Bulldog does have excellent guarding instincts. Bulldogs love human attention. Some bulldogs have a dominant streak and need a master who is firm and exudes leadership. Bulldogs do well with children and make great family pets. Bulldogs can live in an apartment but need a daily walk. Energy levels of Bulldogs vary widely but the breed is relatively inactive indoors. Bulldogs are prone to health problems and tend to slobber profusely.

A Bulldog named Uga is the beloved mascot of the University of Georgia. The English Bulldog is the mascot of the U.S. Marine Corps. Bulldog puppies often have to be delivered by C-section due to the breadth of their heads. Bulldogs have such jowly facial folds that they need to have their teeth brushed and their facial folds cleaned out on a daily basis.
